During last couple of weeks a numerous texts have been published on the possibilities generated by technology for business today. Few Netwise consultants had the pleasure to be interviewed by i.e. Rzeczpospolita (the second-most opinion-forming daily newspaper in Poland). In the technology supplement of Rzeczpospolita cyfrowa (Digital Rzeczpospolita. New Technologies for Business) they presented their comments and opinions on various topics related to modern CRM systems and customer relationship management.

Agile Methodologies – a Brilliant Method or Just a Fashion?

The October 4th issue of Rzeczpospolita contains an extensive article dedicated to agile methodologies. Jakub Skałbania, Lead Consultant and Partner at Netwise, expressed his opinions and described the negative consequences of dogmatic use of all agile practices when companies are not ready for them. Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in Business

Krystian Hatala, New Projects Division Manager, gave two commentaries for Rzeczpospolita. The first one was related to Big Data and modern business intelligence approach. The second one was dedicated to the possibilities of employing artificial intelligence for monitoring brand sentiments in social media and big data, as illustrated by Microsoft Social Engagement.

As reported by Rzeczpospolita, before 2018 more than half of new applications will be using artificial intelligence (AI). Moreover, savings stemming from its use may amount up to $60m to 2020 in the US alone. In the publication dedicated to providing BI services in the cloud Krystian Hatała support the thesis that the global shift to the cloud is inevitable for modern businesses. Data flow in companies will increase fivefold till 2019. Our expert discusses interesting possibilities of machine learning and talks about the security issues.
