Effective data analysis in real time using Microsoft Power BI

In the times of an intensive development of machine learning and business intelligence (BI) companies look for a possibility of using an effective data analysis in real time in order to track the progress in the realization of their established goals. The amount of the processed information that is available for the management is impressive and a visualization of that data may, in a simple way, streamline the management processes. Visual management is also one of the main recognized trends for 2017 and the following years.

Discover Microsoft Power BI – a tool for data analysis in real time

Among many solutions for data analysis and visualization currently available on the market it is worthwhile to take a closer look at the possibilities offered by Microsoft. Microsoft Power BI is a cloud-based, easy to use tool ensuring an effective data analysis in real time and quick access to the inside information. The solution facilitates making better decisions in the areas of customer service, marketing, and sales.

In the Gartner’s report Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms, Microsoft was again recognized as the leader of the BI market. Power BI is at the forefront when it comes to complexity of available analyses (it allows the import of data from over 50 various sources) or easiness of use. It is licensed on favorable terms and continues to attract many customers. Moreover, Microsoft has also well drawn up plans for further development of the application and implementing new functions and integrations.

Integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365

A great advantage of Microsoft Power BI is integration with other solutions offered by the Redmond-based company, e.g. various Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications. In the most recent upgrade a template integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Project Service Automation was added. The users have access to new reporting templates to carry out analyses that can also be customized to better fit the needs of a particular organization. Earlier, a similar addition was marketed – a solution integrated with Microsoft Dynamics for Sales, designed for visualization, management, and analysis of the sales process.
